There’s an advert with Jeremy Clarkson
Something to do with Amazon Prime
Where he smugly sends parcels to Europe
Implying he’s committing a crime
Now I may not know much about adverts
Perhaps because I’m such a big nit
But I wonder if this promotional film
Lost a big chunk in the last edit?
I think I might be misunderstanding
Despite the fact he pulls his naughty face
That lolloping car-driving performer
Seems to be doing something quite nice
I just don’t get what he’s supposed to be up to
Sending nice things to the French all for free
Is it simply that these modern adverts
Are simply too meta for me?
