ONE YEAR ON…

I’m too gloomy to write anything of any substance today.

On this morning one year ago, I opened the curtains to be greeted by this view:

This year, I was faced with a much more mundane vista:

What a difference a year makes.

Last year I was in the “Valley of the Kings”,
today I’m walking through the valley of despair and such
things as 'holidays' seem like impossible dreams...

Sigh!

Never mind… Here’s an image of some Nile boats which I made up
sometime last year from my pictures taken on that trip.

Hopefully it will cheer you up.

Maybe it will cheer me up.
