Nature – it’s great!
She cried entering the hide
Her mother and child in tow
These binoculars are great!
She exclaimed to everyone
Not looking at the view
I couldn’t get my own
Binoculars to work but
These I hired are good
You’ll probably get
Them far cheaper online
Said her mother sagely
She stares at her phone
I’m just looking on eBay
For binocular bargains
Look at the view!
That’s the picture I wanted
Of Conwy castle
The phone clicks and
Less than three minutes after
Arriving in the hide
Full of enthusiasm
For nature they are gone
But as for human nature – it grates!
