GRANDAD'S SLIDES (25) - WOODEN BOX 2 - SS CANBERRA 1965 (PHOTOBLOG)

SLIDES 0267-0286

Going by the labelling in the lid of that now infamous wooden box, in going to take a punt and say that this set are most probably scenes of Alexandria taken in August 1965, although, as I've never been there, I can't be entirely sure, and, whilst this set marks the end of a roll of film (hence the numbers punched through the last image), there's just a slight chance that Cairo also features.

Still, there are some fascinating pictures of street traders and ordinary people going about their lives in this set, so they are worth a gander.
