SEX AND DEATH

SEX AND DEATH

Death and sex
Sex and death
Writhing, thrusting
Take a breath
To touch, to feel, to share
A moment alive inside despair
Death and sex, sex and death
Spit out fury in exultant breath

Sex and death
Death and sex
That macabre dance
You might be next
To cross the void, to leave
Behind this life of dark secrets
Sex and death, death and sex
Bodies engaged leave no regrets

Death and sex
Sex and death
Tearing, clawing,
Thrashing, moaning
Clinging on to living
Hold life for all it’s worth
Death and sex, sex and death
Fill a gaping wound left so bereft

Sex and death
Death and sex
Thrusting, needing
Feeling, feeding
The warmth and heat
From a throbbing pulse
Sex and death, death and sex
Desperate rages where nothing reflects

Death and sex
Sex and death
They dance their dance
Waltzing over grief
Torn from the burning
Heart of a supernova
Death and sex, sex and death
Hold tight, hang on; take one last breath

Sex and death
Death and sex
The need to share
To be, to feel
To prove there’s still life
And feeling intertwined
Sex and death, death and sex
Death and sex and sex and death

NB - The "idea" (such as it is) behind this one is the interchangeability of the two, and to create a vagueness about which was being referred to at any given moment. I'm not sure that I've been entirely successful in that, so I may return to the subject at some future date.
