The mistake I made -
Allowing myself to have
A glimmer of hope
It's hard to explain
How my life tends to implode
When disappointed
You know it is true -
I do slip into haiku
When I'm disheartened
I keep on hoping
Something better will happen -
But no - it gets worse.
Something better will happen eventually.
