Another set of bought slides that lurk in a tiny cardboard box at the back of one of the drawers of that "Mysterious Blue Box" that land here in the scanning order, if, perhaps, not in the actual time-line.
Such is the lack of labelling on the cardboardy bits of these slides, that I'm not even 100% certain that I've even scanned these the correct way around. There's usually at least a "View From This Side"to give you a hint or two. That one of the inside of whatever church, abbey, or cathedral that is, by the way, took several goes to even get the right way up...

They've lost a lot of their blueness, too, which appears to be a peculiarity of "bought" or "souvenir" slides as we have found on this journey. Odd really, as they've been kept in precisely the same conditions as all the others this past few decades...
Anyway, it seems to be some sort of royalty gig or other that my Grandparents wanted to keep the memory of. No doubt it didn't end well. Once again I hope that it's long enough ago not to offend anyone who took the pictures, or their rights to them, but I thought they might be of interest to people who enjoy that sort of thing, and, as usual, include them more for the sake of the completeness of the collection rather than anything else.
